Paz Grimberg, PhD

Mr. Grimberg is the Co-Founder and CIO of Schuss Capital, a quantitative investment firm specializing in arbitrage strategies. Prior to founding Schuss Capital, Mr. Grimberg worked as the head of Merger Arbitrage Technology at Citadel. Prior to Citadel, Mr. Grimberg worked as a capital structure arbitrage quant at Water Island Capital. Mr. Grimberg also served in Israel Defense Force’s elite signal intelligence unit (Unit 8200), where he performed zero-day vulnerability research. Mr. Grimberg's team was the recipient of Israel’s most prestigious national security award, the Israeli Defense Award, for outstanding contribution to homeland security.
Mr. Grimberg received a BSc in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, a MSc in Mathematics from Tel Aviv University, a Masters in Financial Engineering from UC Berkeley and a PhD in Computer Science from NYU.
